I’m a qualified counsellor, coach & founder of Soul Writing™

I’m a counsellor who takes a person-centred approach, which means I follow you and your needs in our sessions. I trained in an integrative approach which means I may bring in different elements from other modalities such as creative writing, free-drawing and considering your dreams.

For clients who are open to it, we can use meditation and inner transformation work which calms your nervous system and decreases anxiety. My transpersonal counselling and meditation training means I’m listening intuitively to what’s trying to emerge for you.

I’m also an academic and researched the impact of creativity and my Soul Writing method on wellbeing and mental health. I love facilitating people’s guided meditation journeys to help you to write from an authentic place and connect to your inner wisdom.

I have over 30 years experience running successful businesses and coaching companies and government to transform. During that time I’ve witnessed the impact of high pressure targets and the unrelenting pressure to keep performing. I’ve witnessed my colleagues burnout under the strain and have experienced burnout myself.

Creativity and a slow gentle approach to encouraging the soul to resurface and the imagination to explore again hold the key to recovery.

I am neurodivergent and work with people who identify as neurodiverse. I offer a flexible space online and in person where you can take breaks, move as you need and bring stimulation accessories.

As meditation reduces anxiety and helps regulate the nervous system, I offer monthly meditation sessions where you can have a taster of my Soul Writing method. Anchoring your inner voice on the page is a powerful part of the healing process and I encourage my clients to join when you can to support your healing journey.


My Approach

In my therapy, coaching and Soul Writing practice, I hold a non-judgemental space. I take an intuitive approach to all and all sessions are confidential.
Sessions are 50 minutes. We meet online.

Therapy & Counselling will suit you if you want talking therapy which is open-ended or just for a few sessions to talk something through. I sometimes offer creativity and meditation if you welcome that, but we can just sit together and talk too.

Soul Writing Coaching is more suited to those who are open to creative writing and meditation and transpersonal inner work to access your unconscious wisdom, and bring your hidden knowledge into conscious awareness. I hold space for you to access your intuition.

Executive Coaching is suited to people working in high impact, high performance driven environments. It is also suited to those who are burnt out or feel soul less and disconnected from themselves as a result of corporate or work burnout.
